A truly wonderful day, the sunshine helped. This was my first visit to a National Trust destination where I saw deer roaming amongst the trees and were next to people. I got my steps in on this visit with around 5 staircases in the house, which was a great step into the past as all the houses are. The staff were all friendly and helpful, this all adds to make a visit a visit really great or awesome. They had a large gift shop and had lots of flowers and plants ready to enhance your garden. If you haven't been a member or not, then get yourself there exercise fresh air truly a great benefit to your health. The ice cream was delicious to something you should try.

Popular national trust property where you can get quite close to deer in the park.
Didn't get time to go around the house but the gardens are decent for a quick stroll.
It's more commercial than most NT sites with a huge cafe and shop.

My 11 year old loved his time here. Park is beautiful and you can see deer everywhere. There was guided tour for free at the start of the garden. Tour started at around 11:30 I guess and guide had so much knowledge about the park and it's building. I am sure all kids are going to love the park and it's nice day out. Cafe had few options to eat. We had lovely tea and pasty.

Lovely day out at Dunham Massey. What a fabulous place this is; can't believe we haven't explored here sooner. A lovely amble around the deer park, and the deer were so tame, we were just a few yards from them. Gardens are stunning. House is magnificent, and the staff were proactively informative about each room, and very approachable and friendly. Lovely shop and cafe ... pasties recommended. Will definitely return.

Beautiful place to visit if you're a National Trust member expensive if not. £8 per person on entry allowing you access to hall and gardens whether you wanted to do that or not. Food in the stable restaurant is good value and I can recommend the jacker potato and pulled pork bun. The deer are within touching not that you would they are beautiful. Gardens are well looked after all year round

Great day, dogs can now go into the garden after 12 although they can go into the rest of the park all the time. Nice coffee from the cafe and a lovely picnic. We really enjoy our days here.

The bus routes are not the best to get to this place, so I'd not recommend the public transport to travel here. The parking lot is huge, the park itself also huge. The visitors house offers handmade beauty, clothing, homeware and food goods. The park consists of 3 parts, house, park and garden. You can buy tickets to any or all together. The fallow deer were not afraid of us, and the guests treated them with respect too. Seen at least 50 squirrels too. The gardens are well kept and beautiful. Early June must be the perfect time to visit as the rose garden will be in full bloom in few weeks. Will visit again and would recommend.

Excellent visit. The deer park is wonderful. Vey nice cafes and restaurants. Beautiful kept gardens. The history of the house was very interesting and as usual The National Trust has restored the rooms very well and you get a great insight of life there over the different eras.
