Lovely bridge shame, its backside hasn't been wiped, so to speak. A little tidying up wouldn't go a miss or cost a lot.
I was last here about 35 years ago and the type of shops and cafes hasn't changed much.
Being a centre spot attraction should give the owners some pride to be there, but it all seems so tired.
The best place was the Thai Weir alongside the bridge which was an oasis in the Bath desert, perfect place to sit and watch the bridge, the boats and the numerous amount of people passing through the seating area who were oblivious to the fact that you could just have a drink and take in this lovely bridge.

Such a beautiful and wonderful place. Not only about the bridge but the buildings around it, the churches around it, all historical buildings are at its beauty. Loved the place and didn't wanted to leave. The place is like taking you to some other part of the world which is extremely diffrent from what we see every day. Its like watching a classic cult after we deal with the regulars. No words to explain. This place is worth the visit highly recommended. Admirable place and constructions. There are so many places and buildings you can see around walking distance. This place will never disappoint you.

A sight to behold???? it was so so beautiful and fascinating for me ????

Myself and my girlfriend went on a sight seeing trip to bath, would recommend this trip for anyone. Bath is a very beautiful city, lots of amazing views.

It was very easy to navigate places/locations. Every view was worth it. ????????

This is one of the most beautiful bridges we have ever had the opportunity to visit. It's beautiful, there are many differences, like there is a restaurant right on the bridge. The river is so beautiful. The scenery is dreamy, peaceful and wonderful.

A very popular and well-visited place that is loved by absolutely everyone. The bridge offers stunning views of the river and historic buildings, all topped off by the mesmerizing high-frequency energy of the energetic flow and roar of the water cascades.

Love this bridge so cute with a lot of shops and coffee shops.. with the view of the river so so so nice also if you pay attention at some point you will notice some small stairs that takes you down near the river good spot to take pictures

A very picturesque piece of architecture that is best appreciated from the riverside below.

The bridge itself is a road with shops either side, but the beauty of this location isn’t best represented here… Either take a walk down the steps by the Thai Cafe or take a walk along the main road, past the bus stops to access the riverside.

If you find yourself by the riverboat tour, I’d strongly recommend ????????

The bridge itself is nice to see. The people and the attractions around the bridge and in or around the river turns the bridge into a live centre. They have boat tours, punting, cafes, and a God-knows-why-they-are-charging-a-£1-entrance-fee park. Honestly you can't help but feel alive and vibrant there. We took approximately a hour long boat trip. I'm so happy that I chose to pay money for the boat trip rather than paying 25 quid for seeing Roman baths. The boat tour was fun although the seats were a bit uncomfortable, and it was £11.
