The long stay airport parking was straightforward and the walk to the arrivals terminal took just a few minutes. Check in was done on-line and there was no checked in luggage. Security took a few minutes. The departure lounge was very good. Arrivals was also a pleasant experience. Good local airport, highly recommended.

A busy airport, but fairly well managed in terms of dealing with high volume passengers getting through etc. Normal stuff when you get through..... overpriced food with not the best quality. C'est la vie. All part of the holiday experience!

If you're travelling from Devon to Paris, don't bother wasting your time driving to London thinking you can get cheaper air fares. By the time you pay for fuel, fight the traffic and your time and stress, you are going to be way better off flying from Bristol Airport. Long term parking is close to the terminal anc checking is pretty straightforward. There are plenty of food options and coffees, sunglass stores, alcohol and duty free fragrance stores without the hustle of Heathrow or Gatwick Airports

Not too busy. Nice options on food polite staff. But terrible signage outside and inside ! My poor taxi driver and I could not find a drop off point. Very very unhelpful signage. With 100 pound fine threats everywhere. Not helpful especially for older generations. Then trying to get to gate 7 yes it’s upstairs once you’ve walked around for a while. See picture. Please more proper signs. Oh and the press for ticket button on the car park Don’t get me started on that. ????

Can be very busy. Overall an OK airport. Experience will obviously depend on any issues with your airline company. Easy enough to check luggage in, check yourself in, go through security, and then get to your gate. Keep an eye out on the board for your desired flight as it will usually advise which gate you need to get to about an hour before or of there is any delays or cancellations. 2022 when I went to Greece was chaos but, Jan 2023 (Amsterdam)and July 2023 (Turkey) was very good and plain sailing. Clean and tidy. Staff helpful. Lots of duty free items; alcohol, tobacco, perfumes, and clothes which are the exact same price as on the High Street. Food and drink available but can be expensive. Big fan of the Tortilla restaurant. Burger King can be very hit and miss, and very overpriced.

From a plane spotter perspective its real nice to be up close to them, the down side is the secure high fence doesn't make for some amazing photos. The public road that goes around the runway is very tight, a single track road with large vans passing regularly and tractors, it's also an accident waiting to happen which will ruin a hobby for those that do take care. Be careful with your kids in the road, folks. We had a great time there. If ever in the area again, would defo check it out.

Bristol Airport offers domestic flights as well as many international flights. Service nice and friendly. There are several shops and bars. In front of the terminal you can find buses that go to Silverzone and Car Rental. Other buses A1, A3, A4, National Express, Falcon depart next to Multi Storey Car Park below the Terminal. For smokers, there is a smoking area at the entrance to the terminal on the left side next to Jet2, while after going through Security, the next smoking area is located between Starbucks and Gate 4. There are drinking water fountains in several places. There is no good information point at the airport.

We pre booked to park in siver zone whilst we were away, signs everywhere showing you where you had to go so made it easy. The airport was clean and all the staff were helpful and friendly.
