'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child'. What an amazing day out. The Palace Theatre is a really good venue. We went on an extremely hot day (29°) and were pleasantly surprised that the theatre is fully air conditioned. We watched both parts 1 & 2. The venue is good, staff are friendly, the facilities are good, the only letdown is that the seats are extremely snug, and if you're anything over 6ft, there's no give. Bar that, the show is fantastic and I'd heavily recommend it to all.

Beautiful theatre and fantastic Harry Potter play! The performance and special effects are great, really enjoyed it! We saw the 2 parts in 1 day - it is a bit long, but there is a break in between to get lunch and also the plot is interesting to follow anyways. Very friendly staff and we liked the greeting security guy at the door, announcing loudly PART 1 , or PART 2 NOW ...and checking if we enjoyed the show after it finished. Definitely recommend it!

Amazing play! If you are a huge fan of Harry Potter, you should definitely watch this show! Some scenes made me just so impressed how they did production well. It was like a magic! It was definately long running time. But I didn't feel bored not even single second. Higly recommend and must see thing in London!

My seat was on 3rd floor, terrace seat. I attached photo and video of the view from my seat just in case anyone wants to check before book. It was very high and far, actors voices didn't reach well but was able to understand what's going on. It's a restricted view, you might miss some scenes.

Beautiful theatre in the heart of London..
We sat in the highest part of the theatre to see Harry Potter and the cursed child
What a fantastic production and a great cast..
Beware if you pick seats in the upper levels it is quite high and steep..
Does warn of restricted leg room but no more than any other theatres I have attended
Still from here you will still see the show without too much restrictions... so far the lower ticket prices still great value for money
Also there is quite a climb so not advisable for anyone with mobility issues... choose the lower or floor level seats..
Every floor level has a bar and toilet facilities available
We watched both part 1 and part 2
Subsequently as the show is of two parts... little hard on the bum and the legs felt a little stiff at the end of the epic show...

Such a beautiful theatre and such a great experience to see The Cursed Child in the theatre for the first time. The security letting everyone through were friendly and some were cracking jokes to lighten the mood. The theatre staff were polite and friendly and overall a fantastic day.

I watched the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play yesterday and was thoroughly impressed by how well the special effects are incorporated into the show.

It’s a 2 part show, each about 2.5hours and a 20 minute interval, this has got to be one of the longest live shows I’ve watched. Impressively, the story was captivating enough to keep me interested through the play.

The theatre was fully filled, so I highly recommend visiting on a weekday to get best availability of better seats. The video you see here is the view from A-16 at the grand circle. It’s marked as restricted leg room, but my legs could fit comfortably as a 5’8” man. It can get slightly uncomfortable after sitting at the same spot for a long time.

Overall I enjoyed this show thoroughly but I’m not too sure if I could sit through another show of this length. ????

TDLR: It’s a well composed 5.5hour magic show and it felt like I was watching the HP movie.

It’s where Harry Potter and the Cursed Child stage play located at in UK. The theatre itself is old (build in 1891) but well-maintained.
To enjoy the full performance, people can choose to watch two parts in the same day or separate day, personally I chose in the same day and it was not too long at all! (Between-break was not too long though so better have plan for dinner in advance)
My seat was at the first row of the Grand Circle, overall I thought the view was good and the ticket price was not too staggering, only the legroom of the seat was a bit narrow and the rows of seats were laid out relatively steep. It’s not allowed to film/photo during the play, the visual effects of the play was amazing (cool), for the storyline, it’s nice but not as fascinating as the original series.
There’s a mini souvenir area in the theatre lobby yet those merchandises were not appealing as in other HP shops.

I recently attended the Harry Potter Theatre Show at the Palace Theatre and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The show was of very high quality and the performances by the actors were exceptional. The Palace Theatre itself is a beautiful venue and our seats in the stall section provided a perfect view of the stage. Overall, I would highly recommend the Palace Theatre and the Harry Potter Theatre Show to anyone looking for a truly magical night out!
