Excellent for dog walks.
This park is huge! I have been there twice now and there has been different events going on each visit.
The park is nice and clean but the only criticism is that the cafe is not managed well at all. I feel like they need more space to take orders as it was very hectic.
There is plenty of parking and it's fairly priced. The kids playground is also very well equipped. If you like bird watching there's plenty of them there too.

Beautiful area, fantastic climbing frames for the kids and other fun things to play on. Great cafe with food and refreshments. Ideal day out for all ages. Lots of parking and plenty of bins and toilet facilities.

Amazing Park! After years of waiting the cafe is finally open! The park is amazing and there is so much to do! The walk around the lake is a great size for everybody and it is good for daily exercise!

First time here, a beautiful park with café, large playground, lake and model railway. Plenty of park spaces but can get full easily during nice days and weekends.
Parking charge £2 after 10am.
Toilet available next to the playground.

This was surprisingly quiet for a summers day. Great range of watersports for all ages and an ice cream can to quench the icy hunger on a hot day. The only issues is the serious lack of bins and poo bins. The lake and fields are absolutely stunning and by far one of the most impressive ones I've been to since moving to the UK. I see others have already written an essay to explain this but in simple term.

- cheap parking
- beautiful scenery
- water sports
- perfect selection of quiet areas to have a picnic by the lake away from prying eyes.

Just watch out for the dog poo and empty cans as you take a stroll across the fields.

Fun experience with lots to do. Big play area, climbing, segways, golf, skate park etc. Nice place to paddle board or kayak. However, it is quite pricey to rent boats. Fun day out.

Such a lovely park with far reaching views and plenty to do.
Nice that there are wide paths to walk on in wet weather so do not have to get muddy boots.
The mobile kiosk is clean, friendly and reasonable prices for quality food.
Would be nice to have boot cleaning or hose areas to rinse doggy paws.

A beautiful park that we are lucky to have on our doorsteps. A huge space for walkers, cyclists, and dog walkers to all enjoy without crossing paths too often, lots of space for kids to play with 2 playgrounds and a sports field, and v. Reasonable kayak/canoe/SUP board/pedalo hire on the lake! Oh and lots of places to fish, if that's your vibe. Looking forward to the new cafe opening too! Lots of community events and activities in the summer months, and lots of wildlife and nature to enjoy including squirrels, woodpeckers, pheasants, herons, and terrapins.
