Really impressive building. There is a free shuttle service that takes you up from the free car park.

The tickets for the tower themselves are a bit pricey. We paid 11,30 for one adult.

They provide 3 separate rooms with a museum about Wallace and the battles he thought. They are really well designed. There is also a really clean toilet on the ground floor.

The tower itself has 246 steps and it can get real tight, if multiple people want to pass at the same time.

The view at the top however is really impressive and worth the climb.

Great spot.

Lovely place. Amazing views from the top. About a 15 minute walk from the car park all up hill but not to difficult. 246 spiral steps to the top. A few rooms to go in, quite a bit of information. The views at the top are definitely worth it. There are a few walks around the monument all in woodland. There up hill and quite difficult but the scenery is buetiful.

Fantastic monument. Been waiting 2 years to visit this place and it was worth it. Can also purchase tickets online. Very easy. The hike up the hill on foot is fun(for me) as there are boards with some fun reading material and education. The monument alone is worth the trip. The spiral stairs to the top is tight so be aware. Each floor(4) has its own theme as described in the website. Toilet is at the entrance. There is also a shuttle bus to take you to the top if needed. All in all, 100% worth it! Backstory: we stayed in Edinburgh and make a quick 57 min train ride to Stirling. An hour or so walk from the train station to the monument. You also can pass through the original site of the Battle of Stirling Bridge. That was amazing to see. Cheers!

Awesome place to visit if you don't mind heights or are claustrophobic. The stairs inside are very narrow and as you ascend there are others descending. The displays are interesting and the staff are friendly and are happy to share stories of the monument. The views from the top are amazing. I was glad of the shuttle bus to and from the monument as it was very hot the day we visited and it was a wee trek on foot.

Beautiful! Make sure you are able to walk up a steep incline. Their is a shuttle that can drive you to the monument or you can walk up. The stairs of the actual monument are narrow, steep and there are many many of them. The view from the top is worth it!

It is lovely place. First you enjoy the gardens around the tower. In May you can smell the fragrance of wild garlic bloom. It is a test to climb up to the top of the tower. When you do that, you may wonder how previously people with there heavy armour and swords got in there, (only the Wallace sword is about 3kg)
The view from the top is really picturesque. But you need to be really fit to be able to climb the stairs. It is very narrow and not like some people think there is a separate way to go down.

Awesome sight! There is a bus service or walking paths up to the monument. The path is steep and challenging, but also fun. The monument itself has a gift shop and public toilet. It also has 200 and some stairs in a narrow, spiral staircase so be prepared for a taxing climb. The view from the crown is breathtaking. Great cafe and shop below with toilets and neat souvenirs.

So many stairs but worth every one of them. They have a unique way of presenting the history with a mix of video and artifacts. The view at the top is great too. Be sure to wear good walking shoes- you'll need them for the walk to the monument and on the stairs.
