Stunning views, absolutely dog friendly. The we play in the Welsh language at the centre of the castle entertained the kids. They also had a little quiz as we wandered around the castle.

Not sure if it is worth the money. But I think it is important to pay for the upkeep.
£8 to get in. Great viewing tower. Difficult to find parking as only 20 spaces, but you can park in the town/village for free up to 1hour.

Free parking for Blue badge holders in disabled bays.
Free entrance for a disabled person with carer when we went, but I don't know if that's all the time or just while they have restrictions due to the work they've got going on at the moment! We were very limited to where we could go in a wheelchair, we basically went around the front of the castle and we were able to go into one room to read some informational boards, but we did enjoyed our time there.
The staff were welcoming and friendly. The cafe there was very reasonably priced, staff were lovely and after ordering at the counter everything was brought to our table. We only had drinks, but the coffee was freshly brewed and very nice. All the food going out looked fresh and well portioned!
There are accessible toilets in the main building near the cafe.
I'd like to visit again once the castle is accessible.

This is a must see if you're in the area! The staff are really friendly and the views from the top of the castle are truly outstanding! The history of the castle is great to learn about too!
Tickets can be purchased on entry for under £10 each and I personally feel like it's well worth it as proceeds go towards ensuring the castle is maintained and restored.

Yeah that's a nice castle to visit. Also there is a brilliant beach not so far away from the castle. I spent couple of hours in the castle and the rest of my day at the beach.

This was a fantastic castle to visit. I loved climbing up to the top of the towers and walking on top of the walls. When you get up to the top of the walls the stone barrier is quite low and it actually feels a little bit scary and exhilarating to walk the narrow stone pathways.

The top of the gate house is quite high up and it gives a fantastic view of the town, the beaches, and the mountains in the distance.

There was a lot of great information about the conflicts between Wales and England, and Edward I's role in building many castles in Wales. I learned a lot.

Admission fee was very reasonable. There was a great gift shop, a cafe, and clean bathrooms on site. The parking lot was a little small.

The staff are very friendly.

An amazingly preserved castle which is accessible to enter and explore upper floors around the structure. There are fantastic views out to see on a clear day. Clean public toilets in the information centre. Well worth a visit. There’s also a good ice cream shop opposite the visitor centre!
