First impression: it's tidy and clean. Few good shops and restaurants inside such as: WH Smith, Starbucks, BurgerKing, The Good Breakfast, Subway and KFC.

They got a good lunch area with plenty of seats at Starbucks.

You've got a Cash Point / Bank machine outside and another one inside.

There are 4 eCar charging ports / Grid service in the parking area ????️

Toilets are clean and it's not smelling like a pub toilet!

Clean, accessible toilets, food available. Fuel available. If you are travelling long distance, this is a good place to stop, just be aware as there may be time restrictions on how long you can stay parked.

Lovely place for rest Honestly very nice service on m1. All time I go there for food and coffee when I drive on motorway

A nice garden centre with plenty going on. One thing that did frustrate me was the café. We sat down and had two children with us 2 and 4. We seem to have hit the weird twilight zone where they stop serving breakfast and won't serve lunch yet. No menus around, so you couldn't at least fantasise about food. I did ask if we could reserve a table until it was lunch time, I was advised we can't do this, which I was fine with as I assumed as much.

Entering the café with your trolly is forbidden! You have to actually not use the doors in the cafe that leads to the little trolley park that only fits 5 trolleys in it, as those special fire doors seem to be used only by staff on their cigarette breaks. Instead you have to follow a one way system in which you can't now walk back to the café to reclaim your table, you now have to continue down the one way system and backtrack to the café.

When it came to ordering, everything was just weird, you queue, then when you pay, you have nowhere to go as the exit seemed to block the logical way out. Instead, you backtrack through the queue. As i did, i very annoyingly noticed 4 tables reserved for lunch, which I was recently told they don't do this. When I ordered the kids' meals, I asked about drinks and the snack that came with their meals. I was told i need to walk across to the entrance to the café to get those. I thought they would either have these nearby or they would simply come with the meal as the menu said it was something like "a kids picnic" or something along those lines. When the kids' meal came, it was just 3 small triangles of cheese sandwiches on plain small plates hardly picnic inspired. Again, little logic has gone into anything.

Staff seemed more busy talking to each other and laughing than actually helping customers find the bathroom or order drinks. I noticed this on a few occasions, and it happened to myself.

When food arrived, it was OK.

Quick service. Various outlets including WH Smith and KFC. Pleasant tree and grass outside with lots of picnic tables .

It's a service station Coffee, petrol, diesel, snacks, despair, tea, newspapers, burgers, you can get it all here and more. Personalised toblerones as well and there are toilets. And spaces to park or charge your car if that's your thing.

A good oriental takeaway option was tasty.
Temporary toilets in carpark. No problem though as there were enough and they were clean. Disabled toilets and baby changing available too.
