The park around the property is really what made our visit a wonderful and serene time. It was such a pleasure to wander around the park; everywhere you look, it's always like a painting is coming to life in front of your eyes. Absolutely beautiful. the house itself was lovely, only the ground floor is open to visit but it was interesting enough. The cafe offered some good options for lunch (better than your average National Trust cafe I must say) and all the staff/volunteers we interacted with were nice and friendly. Really a great place to visit on the weekend.

Lovely house and gardens to view.
We had popped to the famous welsbourne market before coming here for a lovely walk and lunch.
We have visited many national trust properties, and this one had beautiful rooms and gardens.
The grounds and house are very well maintained. It has many pictures, artwork, and furniture of ages past.
All encompassing a lot of history to read about and experience walking around.
The tulips stood out brightly in the spectacular grounds to stroll around too. There is plenty of parking over in the main arrival area and ticket office. You cross the road and walk down the long driveway from there.
We managed to catch sight of some deer whilst driving past but not on the walk around.
There are two cafe/ coffee shops options, we went to the orangery.
Highly recommended whatever the weather.

Charlecote Park is a beautiful park located in Warwickshire, England. It is home to a Tudor manor house, a deer park, and a variety of gardens. The park is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.

I visited Charlecote Park on a recent sunny day. The park was crowded with people enjoying the weather. We started our visit by exploring the manor house. The house is beautifully furnished and contains a number of interesting historical artifacts. After touring the house, we went for a walk in the deer park. The deer were very tame and came right up to us. We also enjoyed a picnic lunch on the green behind the house.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Charlecote Park. The park is well-maintained and has a lot to offer visitors. There are plenty of places to explore, from the manor house to the deer park to the gardens. There are also a number of activities available, such as guided tours, picnicking, and wildlife viewing.

First visit and we immediately fell in love with it .
Huge grounds to explore . I really loved walking by the river . We saw lots of deer in two different locations . These seem very tame .
The mansion is a very handsome building but it only has a few rooms which are open to the public . We enjoyed the carriage block and the brewery plus the kitchens.
There's a cafe in a lovely courtyard and a restaurant set close to magnificent cedar trees. We had coffee and scones.
Ample parking . Toilet facilities including disabled. Lovely gift shop .
The gardens were popular with lovely views to the river and some great seating .
We spent two hours there and hadn't seen everything but were on our way to Stratford to see a production and have our picnic there.

This is a great place to spend all day at. We arrived at 11 am, plenty of parking, buy your tickets at the car park. We had a timed ticket ???? to visit the house, some wonderful furniture and artwork inside. The rest of our day was spent walking along the many footpaths, along the river through the trees ???? and meadows. We saw deer and sheep. So tranquil. An afternoon cream tea at the Orangery went down well. Clean toilets ???? and lots of places to sit and relax.

Beautiful Tudor House set in a large landscaped estate with a herd if wild Deer that you can try and see on many walks around the estate and also Swans who frequent the river Avon which runs through the estate. Car parking and entry is across the road and you then have a short walk up the drive which I can only imagine Elizabeth I took when she visited. Only the 5 downstairs rooms are open but are still with a look, with some beautiful furniture and stunning paintings, the vlounteer guides in the rooms were as always very knowledgeable. There are things for children to do which include a hide to watch wildlife from, a small shop is in the kitchen area, the laundry and brewhouse are also open.

An excellent NT property to visit! The park is fabulous with the river running through it, the fallow deer roaming about it and the fabulous views. The café is good and we had the excellent cream tea. Its proper old, full of old pictures of old dead people, Kings and Queens. Definitely one of the best NT places to visit.

A long 170 mile journey. The parking was easy and no ticket was needed for the car. It was an easy walk to the house.
The house was beautiful but only the bottom floor was open to the public as the original family still live there. ( Just glad i didn't have to pay to get in as we are life time members of the NT)

There were extra rooms in the courtyard full of horse drawn carriages to look around and a room with second hand books.

The garden is mainly parkland with a small ornamental garden near the river.

All in all its a beautiful place and a worth a visit but its not particularly big. Luckily its near another NT house Upton House.
