Super cool architecture. Even if you’re not interested in the things in the museum, you can go there to appreciate the design of the building.

A lot of interactive games suitable for kids to enjoy and many historical and new facts to explore. A great place!

Spontaneous visit as it was raining. It turned out to be the best part of our visit to Edinburgh. There is something for everyone. The kids had a great time and there is a F1 display which made the teenager happy. Its free to enter and easily accessible its a must on your visit

Can't complain for a free day out with or without the kids. Some fun interactive stuff, even for the adults. Do ensure you visit the rooftop before you leave too.

I would recommend following the road down to Greyfriar's after you leave the museum.

This is a very interesting place. We spent three hours here but it is a full day family program if you want to try everything on every floor. The entry is free of charge.
There is a restaurant on the ground floor and a bar on the first floor. I can highly recommend to visit this museum with the kids. They can learn a lot here.

Fantastic museum! A MUST go whenever you’re in Edinburgh. It begins with the beautiful architecture of the building and when entering it, it’s full of surprises. Again the architecture but also it’s tremendous collection! This goes perfectly hand in hand. A great trip to do with kids as well. Highly recommended!

Wauw! ???? This might be one of the best museums I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The place is huge, with both multiple permanent and changing exhibits. There are SO many interactive exhibits and things to do for kids. I would recommend spending about 3-4 hours at least to see everything. If I could give this place 7 stars I would ????

It's a great museum. It is easy to navigate through different sections. The size is manageable. You don't feel over whelmed by the number of floors, sections, and exhibits. I particularly liked the section on bikes, cars, and communications.

My favourite museum! I always love visiting this place, it has everything. Love the animals, space, fashion, science & painting exhibits. Could spend a whole day in here with how much there is to see. It's all very tidy & organised. The only downside is that it gets quite busy. Love Dolly the sheep ????
