Really enjoyed my second visit to the Natural History Museum. Absolutely fantastic museum with loads on offer for everyone. I've now done the dinosaur exhibit twice, and will likely make it my first stop on my next visit.

The cocoon was quiet - away from the hustle and bustle of crowds of school kids. Some really cool specimens of insects in there, and had the opportunity to watch some scientists working in real time through the viewing windows.

The mammal exhibit is great with plenty to see, but it would be nice if the invertebrate sea life section had a bit more to look at, it felt like a part of the museum that is coming up for an update.

Plenty of great birds to look at as well, some really cool birds on display.

The architecture too is phenomenal, a genuinely beautiful building to look at, inside and out.

Really looking forward to my next visit, when I'll do the red zone and spend more time in geology. This is really a three visit museum at minimum.

If you've read this far - book tickets. There must have been 300 people queued up in the non-ticket line when I got there, so I just got on my phone and booked tickets and walked straight through the ticket line, no wait.

Museum is free to enter; but I recommend booking tickets ahead of time. Timed entry and skip the line. I went on a weekday and it was busy. Dinosaur exhibit and the minerals and gems were my favorite. Beautiful building. Can easily spend several hours here.

Came here on the most busiest days ever where there were school kids on trips and families going around. If you like going to more quieter museums, then this place wouldn’t be recommended

Besides that, it was lovely to go around and learn about the history of humankind and our climate. There were lots to see considering it was all free. Lovely shop at the end that had lots of things to buy.

Would recommend booking a free entry ticket to avoid the queues

Outstanding place! Take your time and set aside at least 2.5 hours for this place, it's worth it. I also recommend to buy (reserve) entry ahead of time so you don't have to wait in line. Most museums are free in London, unless you want to donate something. Reservation grants you immediate entry, even if you arrive later than initially booked.

The place is huge, has a lot of sections and it's very interactive and suitable for kids. They will absolutely love it.

You can't go wrong with free entry. Fantastic way to spend a few hours. Great, interesting exhibitions for all ages. Bought the Kids guide but only used it for the map during the visit. Will probably make more use out of it during the train journey home!

It's a great exhibition and it's hard to believe it's free. There is a wide range of exhibits, from living organisms to minerals, and both men and women are sure to enjoy them. The museum is very large, so be careful not to concentrate too much or lose track of time. Priority entry is given, although advance booking is not essential.

Possibly the greatest museum in the world. If you're in London then a visit should be high on the list of things to do. You can easily spend more than half a day wandering around this remarkable museum. If you've never visited before, you're in for a treat. Recommended.
