Go here for swimming and the climbing wall. Also the outdoor football pitches.
It's good generally, parking at the venue can get full but more free parking by the football courts.

Swimming pools good for all ages but the spectator area on the balcony is looking dated, considering this is a new building all the hand rails and glass surrounds are really rusty already and half the seats taped off with no access.

Gym is functional and other facilities good for most sports, interests.

The climbing walls are good but was disappointing as a kids party! Food was OK but cafe staff not that helpful, food pretty expensive.
Worst thing is that parents were not let in with the kids party into the climbing area, seemingly for health and safety, however as there is no spectator area downstairs meant that parents couldn't see their kids climb.
Instructors gave a safety demonstration to the kids before they climb the walls showing them how to attach the safety rope and how to kick off from the top and decent down on the rope alone.......however one thing they didn't say to the kids was to remember that once they are climbing the smaller walls which don't require the attachment of a rope.....I saw a kid climb then kick off at the top thinking they were on a rope still, only to fall badly on the floor from quite a height. Think they should remind the kids of this or allow parents in?

Kids party food is served outside the climbing room next to the swimming pool observation window which means it isn't private at all and seems a very impersonal setting, with no party things at all, more of public sitting area.

As a sports leisure centre it's great, as a kids party venue not.
Food ok but not brilliant and expensive.

Clean, new leisure centre. Coffee shop on site with loads of seating areas. Good facilities for babies. The pool is brilliantly clean with lots of sessions on to meet the needs of everyone. The gym itself is clean and modern with friendly staff. Loads of classes to choose from too.

Absolute shocking tome tables.
You cant get any customer service from the reception or emails.
Unable to provide timetables for holidays, which makes unnecessary journeys.
Staff sit in reception doing little to nothing and cant answer phones or email enquiries?
There are two pools yet never enough for general swimming, not everyone wants to go lane swimming late evening or unable to make early hours vice versa. Make use of the pools adequately!!!
Its always hectic, the swimming changing area always smell vile and not very clean. I’ve never actually seen the changing rooms been cleaned, for a whole week the same markings were in the cubicles, which shows they don’t get cleaned!
Not enough classes, and difficult to book onto.
Parking is sometimes very difficult.
Alsoooo, when their centres close, they don’t inform people in other ways, other than facebook… they can make posts on there but cant get back in touch with peoples enquiries.
Lastly, yes the contract is agreed about closing for race days, but why is there so many, its very annoying.
I wont be renewing my membership once it is over. Id rather spend a few more pounds and get full access and have better schedules without chaos which happens on every visit.

Excellent facilities, great location. It looks well staffed and busy all the time, but you can still get to book into the swimming pool or gym. I like that it has 2 pools and a water play area for children. Overall a very useful community facility

Great facilities, modern, clean and well maintained. We only used the pool but the price for it is affordable and great value for money. While they are basic rectangle pools the facilities for them are some of the best I've seen, the accessibility and inclusivity of the set up with disabled access and such is what other facilities should aspire to. Definitely worth a visit and the next time we are in the area we will certainly be looking at the other facilities beyond the pool.

2 x lovely pools....the lane swimming pool great for ordinary swimming...medium swimming and faster swimming.
And the smaller pool for slower, elderly, and disabled people and also swimmers can do there own water aerobics.
As long as everyone gives and takes for space if it gets a little crowded it is the perfect pool. I think its really good.

Can't beat technogym equipment. This gym works perfect for me on a pay as you go basis. Cleanliness is generally really good. As a gym manager myself for a big club, there are a couple of things I'd be looking into......

1. Its great that juniors are allowed to train. I think this should be supervised more. Poor technique from a lot and someone will injure themselves

2. Vendors need to sell some form of no sugar energy drinks or pre workout (massive sales opportunity here from me alone)

3. The last few weekends I've been in, heavy metal has been playing in the club. For me this is brilliant, but the demographic that's in the club they are likely not fans of system of a Down. I'd have more club friendly music

4. C2 bike ergs would be a welcomed addition to the club

Great new leisure centre with lots of facilities and right in the park with fab views and walking opportunities. Lots of free parking, friendly staff and a nice little cafe.

My children love coming for the climbing wall and swimming.
