Such a fabulously rich and informative experience, particularly for younger people but also quite a harrowing and emotional time for those connected to anyone who may have fought in the war.

The layout is easy to navigate, the environment is surprisingly peaceful outdoors and some of the exhibits are fantastic.

Highlights were the blitz and the submarine (if you can call them highlights).

Wonderful place preserving history we must never forget.

Absolutely fantastic day at Eden Camp museum. Brilliant layout, unlike any museum I have visited before. Wasn't too busy, and the way it's set up kept people moving throughout. Very emotive and informative. Would recommend checking each entry advisory as some may be upsetting for younger children.
Clean cafe and toilet facilities. Really friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

This is a really good educational venue set in a historic Prisoner of War camp that has been restored and reinvigorated to include other subjects of world war 1 & 2.
The staff are really friendly and approachable.
We spent a good 4/5 hours here, reading the exhibits and generally taking it all in. There's a large collection of military vehicles and other displays to interact with.

A fantastic day out. Very reasonable ticket price. Anyone interested in WW1 and 2 will absolutely love this experience. We spent over 5 hours here and could have stayed longer!

Recently been on holiday in the area, Eden camp was one of the places we visited with our two children, we all loved it and had a fantastic day, lots of things for the children to look at and explore and lots of learning opportunities for the children. Was lots of school there also when we visited but this didn’t cause any problems as we still had our space to do what we wanted and was disturbed by them. Would definitely visit again.

A great half day out.
Found this place , well sign posted and plenty of free parking. Everywhere was tidy and people with dogs were all under control.
There was loads to see. The exhibits were varied and done as though it was a picture from that time. There was even smells and heat used to give an authentic feel.
The staff were really helpful and friendly. The toilets clean and modern, and baby changing units available.
The cafe was pretty decent but expensive, a sausage or bacon bun was really overpriced for 2 sausages or 2 bits of bacon. The quality was ok, with fresh buns, clean cutlery, plates etc.
All in all, a great half day out, we would go again, but take something to eat instead of using the cafe.

Brilliant destination for the whole family, something for everyone. Took me 5 hours to have really good look around including lunch. Great to get to by car with plenty of parking but I went by public transport, train to Malton then taxi to the camp although could have taken the coastline bus. Each hut is themed with both displays and information. The displays are more of an experience with lighting, sound, and effects very well done. Plenty for the kids to do too. The place manages to blend fun with thoughtfulness, history, and the horrors of a war which we should never forget whilst respecting and honouring the lives of those lost. A not to miss day out.
