Great to have a coffee and do some shopping for many different things be it shoe, bag, clothes or some soap and I like the market place. There's the Disney store for kids and good toilet facilities plenty places to eat in and around the area.

Nice clean and fresh in heat of summer. Lots of shops and cute little carts down the centre. Coffee shops, an indoor market. Called Jackie Whites.
Butcher, fresh fish , fruit and veg, fish and chip cafe plus other stalls.

Shopping centre is great. Lots of shops and friendly staff to serve you. HOW EVER. . Stay clear from One Beyond. Staff are so rude and have an attitude problem. Also they advertise products at a certain price and when you get to till the price is dearer. They are ripping people off!!!

Certain security guards walk around in constant circle and talk every single member of staff in the units (shops) and even in the separate café Nero. This isn't part of their job, and not necessary to thire role. This does not give a feeling of trust in my opinion.

Secure dry shopping experience in the heart of Sunderland ,with excellent Bus,Metro,Train and Taxi's nearby... spacious parking on the rooftops..all your city centre favourite stores....& more..

Honestly, it needs to fill those empty lots inside. Maybe have a shuffle round too. It would be nice to see a section of it be a dedicated 'food court' with some restaurants and fast food inside. In terms of what's actually in there, i suppose it does have at least some decent stores, JD, Footasylum, River Island, Next.

Nothing like it used to be pre- pandemic, lots of empty shops and since Debenhams closed you can't spend more than an hour in the shopping centre. The cost of parking is a definite negative, especially on a Sunday when It's £2.00, it needs to compete more with the Metro Centre where it's just a few miles away, where it has free parking and lots more choice in the way of shops and places to eat and drink. The Management in the Metro Centre seem to be getting it right whereas the Management in the Bridges clearly aren't. I'm sure these problems can be rectified by the Management Team at the Bridges and hopefully return it to how it used to be.
