Nice castle, with a very good amount of activities for children and adults alike. The broomstick training was great! We found the state rooms a little intrusive, it really felt like you were walking through someone's front room.

Very grand inside but no real info given about objects or history. A bit of info about paintings. Guides not very approachable or too busy chatting amongst themselves. Couldn't take any photos inside.Over priced for what it was and had a sort of Disney feel.

Enchanted. Glorious day makes for an experience. The foundation display and the planting and structure of the gardens were lovely. The castle and its setting were beautiful. Not able to take photos inside the castle but the state rooms are worth seeing.

43yrs old and first time I've been inside the castle. £20 each but that gives you an annual pass. Highly recommended, there's plenty to see. The castle has been very well maintained, the state rooms are very impressive.

There's plenty going on outside to see and join in with especially for the kids.

One of the best examples of a castle to be found. A stunning castle with stunning views. Great events on for all the family, from jesters to sword fighting. The state rooms are amazing too!

2nd visit did not disappoint! Headed to the state rooms, a must visit! Gorgeous rooms! The harry potter nerd in me of course loved this place. Bring the kids and try broomstick training and see the medieval reenactment!

Good day out. We thought entry price was quite expensive (£20) but found that there was quite a lot to see and do in castle grounds (State rooms, museums, rampart walk, broom training for kids etc.)

Castle grounds themselves are very well kept and quite extensive, lots of areas to picnic and nice coffee shop / fish n chips too ????
