An exciting space which I personally feel has not been fully exploited or utilised. Some high street shops, mainstay being M&S. After all the upheaval of the build and affected surrounding areas during the build, the end result is somewhat disappointing.

I visited a little place in the Beacon in the town centre of Eastbourne. The place was called Chi, which has an Asian fusion inspired menu, which was unexpectedly really good! The staff were great too! Definitely recommend if this is your kinda food ☺️

Best atmosphere for all ages!! There's swings around a table so you can swing while drinking, lots of different games, pool, Mimi golf, throw axes into a tree stump, and many other Gabe's you wouldn't normally see in a place that has cocktails ????????, beets, wines etc. Me and mum went for a weekend and we visited it a few times trying different drinks. I think if they didn't add all that ice within the hoping highball then it would of been the bees knees if a drink!! Was lovely anyway because it had Bally's cream in this drink and it was yummy. It's situated in the beacon shopping centre and is upstairs, I think there's lifts, but I went on the escalator so don't know about lifts!! There was someone in a wheelchair so must have them. Great place for kids and adults.

Not a bad shopping center. Plenty of shops to visit and very spacious. It contains two super markets (Sainsbury's and Marks and Spencer) and plenty of other shops like Primark, Menkind, Claire's Accessories etc. The center is clean and seems to be well maintained and in good order. Worth a visit. The only negative is it seems everything closes around 6pm, including the supermarkets in there - not great if you forget the milk!

Where has all the seating gone? From the entrance by the Metro bank all the way to Boot the Chemist, No Seats. It's a disgrace for elderly people or people with young children it's a long walk. I didn't get as far as two shops as l needed a break so turned round and walked out. Wake up Beacon, people need seats for a rest or to meet friends. A local resident

Love the Beacon, previously known as the Arndale Centre. Went to the Cineworld cinema to watch the latest Mission Impossible. Really liked the movie, as well! After, went to Taco Bell for a burrito. Great day! ????

Great shopping centre and so good to see such a lovely selection of shops still. The bars and restaurants are fab too. Well worth a visit.

It's a modern shopping centre. The modernisation and extension is all fine, good selection of shops. My hesitation is that it changes the feel of the town, and it all feels a bit sterile. My opinion, many will not agree but I preferred it prior to the regeneration.
