Had a great experience hiring a car for a week while we explored the north east. Everything was ready when we arrived and an equally smooth drop off. Jess was very helpful while I tried to arrange from Australia.

Great service. The person who helped me on the phone was kind and arranged for the car to be picked up from our location at no extra cost, in order to accommodate our extremely busy schedule.

Great location. Big shout out to Simon, one of the staff, who was very helpful and accommodating when my train to Newcastle was delayed by more than 2 hours (messing up my booking times). Car nice, friendly service, all very smooth and straightforward. Many thanks ????????

The car suffered a small crack to the rear bumper when I hit a dark rusty pole in the middle of one of their own parking bays. The cost to repair was apparently £1,744 for a small crack to the bumper. They do not appear to have attempted to minimise or challenge the costs incurred during the repair.

I had a a return booked here on 2 January 2023 however it was closed for the public holiday with no after hours option.

After 45 minutes on the phone to customer service, I ended up having to ask the train station management to look after the key on their behalf.

The management of this branch is totally amateur to allow this to happen. It’s a basic in any line of work to make sure you have provisions in place before closing or going on holiday.

I would recommend avoiding Enterprise and this particularly disorganised branch.
